The United States was at peace with Japan before the dropping of the bomb.The United States was doing things that Japan may have not like and could have provoct the dropping of the bomb in Pearl Harbor on December 14, 1941. Yet that is not a justification on Japans part. There was other ways to fix the minor issues they were having before the bombing. After the bombing and Japan killing many Americans and leaving thousands wounded the U.S had to take action. Thesis: The United States was justified for dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan because of the surprise Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Therefore, the United States had to take action to save American lives, money and put an end to the war.
